I can’t believe you are still protecting your plants from cold temperatures at this time of year! Unfortunately, I lost one of my oldest bonsai this summer, a collected white pine. Life got stressful, and I didn’t keep a close eye during a heat wave. Take this as a PSA to everyone, it is a lifelong commitment.

Beautiful tree, masterful work Nigel. For some reason you adding the 'Soul Sista' figurine makes me like you more.

Very nice Nigel...Great narrative concerning your decision making process...Each video contains a new nugget of information to be tucked away...Thanks again for all you time, effort, and sharing...
-
i would have left the last cut in place coz the right side of the tree is kinda vertical, but except that would have done the same :) nice tree nigel, my bob ross bonsai guy 🥰

Absolutely beautiful Raintree. Love how this tree came along the years. Must say it is 1 of my favorite. Thank you Mr Nigel for blessing us with your knowledge.
-
A lovely looking tree. Thanks for sharing.
-
I need to go bonsai pot shopping with you. Because you have amazing round pots..

Cheers from France ❤❤❤

Love that tree. It's so elegant looking. My opinion is the woman is bit big and takes from the tree a bit. But that's just me. All the other trees looking great also especially the rubber trees. Love watching them develop.

Cool 😎 enjoy the summer ☀️

I've got a Brazilian Raintree forest and a single. I live on the Texas Coast and the summers get super hot and the sun gets super intense during July, August and September. As long as I keep the trees well watered, they seem to love the heat and sun. Anyway, just a thought.

Nigel, you truly are a master in Bonsai
-
That rain tree is really nice! Great updates too! Glad the kitties are ok!
-
Love the updates! You've inspired me with the rubber trees. One thing I've been doing is doing partial leaf prunes with a tear-drop shaped template so they stay small

PLEASE. Try the prickly pear cactus. Just wear gloves, nitrile. I have never been stuck wearing the gloves. They will grow great for you as a bonsai. I will have to show you mine that is over ten years old on a video update. They over winter great in the basement for me. Just do not water them all winter long. They will go dormant, but they will come back. Go for it. Not hard. You can do it. I grow mine in a milk crate and I wear long sleeves to take it out in spring and to bring it in for the cold fall months. You have great talent and it will do great for you.

Firethorn. Cool! The 2 trees have a nice haircut and are ready for more summer growth. Really nice looking trees.
