Vanessa agrees to groom a ferocious polar bear. Ferocious polar bear promptly falls in love with Vanessa. Everyone lives happily ever after except the cameraman who disappeared under a giant pile of white fluff 💕 Seriously, he was an absolutely gorgeous and sweet boy and seemed so very patient. I’m really thankful that you figured out a way to make it work! You really are remarkable!

Love that you’ve graduated to grooming polar bears!

I had a Pyrenees, Lab cross that was as deaf as a stone. When he was a puppy, I thought that either he was incredibly stubborn or incredibly dumb, but it turned out that he was just incredibly deaf! After that, I trained him using hand signals and he was the easiest dog to train that I ever worked with. He was always watching me to be sure that he wouldn't miss a command. He had the best recall ever. As long as he could see me wave him in, he would come running from the other side of the 10 acre pasture! Casper was a big, sweet, teddy bear and I really miss him.

I absolutely love him. That moment where you asked him to get up and he just keeled over was a whole mood.

Vanessa: “This dog is deaf so cannot hear me.” Also Vanessa: “Come on. Up. Good boy.” 😂

I love how you remind us he’s deaf, but constantly talk to him. Besides being in an open space, I think he enjoyed laying on the patio because he could feel where you were without having to watch you.
  • @ToxyBlack
He was probably nervous to stay on table because it felt like vet appointment, yet never seen a dog who loves bath so much like this one. 🤣

Any Pyr owners notice how Yeti did the "Pyr paw" with Vanessa? He was treated so well, and he felt so comfortable. This sweet boy sure went with the flow. Thank you, Vanessa, for being so excellent with your craft!
  • @earlpettey
The close-up shots of his face made me giggle. Such a good pupper. Vanessa once again showing how to properly handle a dog with potential aggression issues.
  • @kritichaplot5025
I loved how he walked around the entire shop exploring, with Vanessa slow-chasing behind him with the dryer 😂
  • @kristelbrok998
I love how during his rinse, after you removed the mussle, he just stands there looking all defeated like "why am i here... What is this?!" 😂
  • @briannenurse4640
Even if they can't hear you, the energy you put forth along with your words is what they're picking up on. It seems like he really appreciated that you didn't push him too far out of his comfort zone.

Deaf dog owner here: you can ask the tutors what is the hand signal for 'good boy' . If Yeti doesn't have one you can teach it really quickly with treats. The training is the same as with clicker training , but with your hands instead. It'll make him love you and eventually guard you too...And I hope the cameraman is included in the flock as well, haha. Loved to see a deaf dog here and love your channel. Thank you! <3

The fact that you got to where you are, chose to offer your services free of charge instead of premium pricing due to a "celebrity / influencer groomer status" AND you take on challenging dogs... Vanessa, you're a better human being than I'll ever be. And the fact he's deaf made him the most relaxed dog I've ever seen being blow dried lol
  • @keripollakoff4005
I love how he looked at you when he used his paw to tell you he'd had enough brushing ❤️🐾
  • @nadiamarie9833
The way you took that big scared dog and instantly made the situation more comfortable for him to where he LAID DOWN for his bath was so cute. Some dogs just hate the shower!! You did a great thing by problem solving so you could still groom him!!
  • @agnoteoz
I love how Vanessa said good boy so many times throughout this groom and near the end was like “once again I forgot you were deaf” I loved every minute of this! Such an adorable and sweet dog❤
  • @littlebear274
Oh my gosh when he flumped over onto his side was so funny. Really shows that he's not actually an aggressive dog, he had reasons for it and when he's safe he's happy to just relax and let people look after him. What a lovely boy and so cute when he just lifts his head up and waits patiently so she can do what she needs to.
  • @sutrasofdelight
He may not be able to hear you, but he certainly can feel your emotion. Saying "Good Boy" and feeling it are the same to him.

I’m deaf and I’ve always wanted to adopt a deaf dog. He was such a sweet soulful guy. I think the growl at the beginning might have been when he was with his human so he was guarding them. Like you said, once he doesn’t have anything to guard, he chilled out. I think he actually enjoyed being able to peace out and not worry about being on guard. I suspect tho he couldn’t hear you say “good boy”, he likely read lips if he spends a lot of time with ppl. So I think he got the message. Lip reading is something us deafies just acquire over time, so I wonder if deaf dogs learn to lip read? Anyway, I’m sure your calm energy helped him feel safe. He’s an Angel. I love Himb😍
