My 1 first freshener this year decided all of a sudden she hated the milk stand and refused to get up there. Finally after several days she decided eating was most important. Easy to milk. I am grateful for that.

It's been a buckling season, but maybe the Fall Season will bring more doelings into the herd. So happy they're all healthy and have had no serious trauma with the Mommas either. I noticed how quiet Breezy was when in active labor with #1 (Gopher) and maybe because it was easier than pushing out backwards #2 (Elf) because she was letting everyone know he was being difficult by how loud she was. And what a relief Breezy is showing to be not only a wonderful Momma, but also having a gorgeous, easily milkable udder! I could see the relief on your face when you started to milk her - And it made me smile, too. Congrats on a successful and healthy Spring kidding season!

Slow but steady progress, we were all hoping for doelings for your first F2 kidding but at least it was a good kidding and you can see how Breezy freshens with her udder development, etc. She does look like she'll be a great dairy goat too. The bucklings look very healthy and was nice to see how the Breezy/Feral pairing went! It really is powerful to see how typical seasons can vary a lot year to year, and how to bounce back and adjust to the outcomes. Really do appreciate that perspective you share. Lots more wonderful things coming up with garden season and then fall kidding season. Maybe some more F2 pairings there! 💚:_NigieKid::_Harvest::_MilkCan::_NigieKid::_Harvest:💚
