Ive been incredibly intrigued by the field of bioinformatics. It resulted me in starting my bachelors in computer science. I plan on building a solid foundation in biology as well and hopefully getting accepted into a masters program to get a masters in bioinformatics. Thank you for making these videos for beginners like me!

I’ve been enjoying your videos! I’m a postdoc who generates a lot of sequencing data and one of my goals for my postdoc is to become comfortable with bioinformatics. I am starting with Python and R for right now.. essentially starting from scratch. I’ll be coming back to your videos for more help!

Thank you...., feel sorry for some of the folks (20yr ago) who did most of these workflows in scientific setting( Biomolecular sciences, Molecular Modelling, Cheinformatic, etc) with limited software development background and computing resources........ some what similar to modern day quantum computing scenario

So, mid if I ask but, what happens after you see which gene expressions are high? or which genes have higher expression levels than others? Need to search them in a database & see if they are relevant, etc?

Dude, a fellow aspiring bioinformatician here. Something’s wrong with your mic . Even at high volume you re too soft , can’t make sense of what you’re saying . You might need to fix your sound.
