The concept is aesthetically pleasing and it’s beautiful but there would have to be some sort of means of closing it off for 3 reasons: weather, security & I value my privacy!

That entire open air kitchen would have to be enclosed,otherwise people will be starving through the winter months

No way would I want my house open to everyone and everything. Crazy

Interesting design, lovely but needs glass inclosure will have the same affect as being outside

It's cute, but I would feel uneasy having an open kitchen like that, especially at night. You would have to worry about animals coming onto your porch all the time or worse some homeless person trying to make it their new home.

OH MY GOSH!!!!! After 10 yrs of looking, dreaming, hoping... I finally found the one I love! This is absolutely beautiful & just what I want! Well, just a little tweeking in the bathroom, but over all the floor plan/layout is perfect! The deck completes it & the price is great! Thank you for sharing.

Open Space Kitchen Den/Deck but only good for the Caribbean, Central/South America, Nice! But not for anywhere the temp drops in winter or even has serious weather of any kind...need shutter's to close off the Kitchen/Deck

Interesting design. It's basically a large deck with several small enclosed rooms housed within it. This would be a nice format if I lived in the desert or possibly by the ocean, but down south, where it's warmer for more of the year.

Can see this for my parents who are 70 this year. Fantastic template, really functional, love that it’s all one level perfectly suitable for aged, all spaces are simple, easy for mum to maintain & clean, I would extend the outdoor living area so I can bring the kitchen away from the wall, add a walk in pantry for extra storage, enclose with screens, glass & shutters to keep out snakes & crawlies (necessary for Qld Australia) , pop in a wood burner stove for ambience warmth in winter. A built in ironing station, washer & dryer mounted to save mum bending down, An outdoor fire pit, sauna, hot spa & plunge pool for all season use, 10KW Solar with battery storage, 3 x 20,000 litre water tanks means off grid utility bill free & throw in a glass house & veg gardens & carport, garden shed, They will have everything they deserve and need on a tiny acreage plot. Thanks for an inspiring design! Edit: Gee I can’t forget air conditioning!!!
