Dimash wrote "Unforgettable Day" when he was just a Teenager and by the looks and sound of this Performance, you would have never guessed that Dimash was actually under the weather, yep, Dimash was sick during this Performance, apparently he had gotten 6 Injections in his Neck sometime before and was told not to sing for a while by his Doctor, but here he is Singing Brilliantly and the D8 actually was unintentional, he said that he was trying to hit a G7, but his Voice had other Plans, he instead hits a Note higher than the G7 and slid up to the D8, it's a win if you ask me. How many people tries to hit a Note, fails and end up hitting a Higher and Better Note? I wish my Voice would have my back like that. Great Reaction as always btw.

When original G#7 whistle did not 'came out', Dimash decided to try go for a higher one. 🤣 That's one of rare Dimash's 'Ooops...' moments, which became highest recorded 'singed' live whistle note. From 0.5 seconds C#8 note slide to 4.5 seconds D8, with a vibrato on it.

Dimash wrote “Unforgettable Day” himself when he was still a teenager. This was at the annual Gakku TV open-air concert, and there were approximately 150,000 fans in attendance. Gakku TV is the first music channel in Kazakhstan that exclusively airs content produced in Kazakhstan, promoting Kazakh music, culture, and patriotism. During this 2017 live performance, Dimash set a record for the highest note ever sung in a live concert. It is his now-famous D8. He not only hit a D8 but he also did a glissando and held it for several seconds, even adding vibrato to it. It was a spontaneous attempt because he missed the slightly lower note he had initially aimed for. During the performance, he made certain to erase any doubt that this was indeed anything other than a true live performance by moving his mic quickly from side to side as he sang. Although, there are still the occasional trolls who claim that the note was pre-recorded or that it was an electronic glitch. Dimash is truly on another level. His voice seems limitless, and no matter how many performances of his you watch he will always surprise you with something new. The Guinness Book of Records lists the highest vocal note ever produced by a male as an F8 (F#8, 5989 Hz), achieved by Amirhossein Molaei (Iran) in Tehran, Iran, on 31 July 2019. That was done in a studio, where the singer was just trying to hit the note and had been working on his whistle register for years to prepare for this attempt. He held the note briefly after a proper warm-up and several attempts.
