That Ferrari is just... The most beautiful car ive ever seen.
  • @janzbot71
I'd light candles and put on cologne before washing these cars.
  • @nigelcarren
Best video on the YouTubes they have now. No annoying music, No patronising 'on' presentation, No thanking your sponsors for longer than the actual 'content', No asking for money and above all else... straight to the action..... and a beautiful moment captured and shared. BRAVO, this was like the YouTube I remember. 🏆
  • Thanks for completing the story.Just found its episode yesterday!
  • Anyone else surprised when they fired up the Ferrari? I figured this was going to be a drag and push sale. Impressive, I wish I had 4 million kicking around.

Well done, Tom .. it's been a true pleasure following your involvement with these two magnificent cars.

Cars have been my living most of my life, basically fixing them for others. Bringing dead back to life after many years is my favorite. I remember reading a Hot Rod article in 1980 about the 427 Cobra. " The Cobra would peal your eyelids back, bruise your kidneys and have you from 0-60 in 4 seconds..." Years in the business and yet to run across one in except in shows. 20 years running my own shop in Denver, qualified back yarder I guess, because I can't work for someone else and I can't get enough ahead to go fully legit. You Hagerty have my dream job. I've brought quite a few back to life like a '56 Jag Mk 5, and a ground up restore on a '64 Corvette. Also I've done 142 fix and flips in that 20 years. But again, just to keep the bills paid. Thanks for the videos, it keeps the dream alive.
  • you know Tom ? you're the most legit car enthusiast i've seen on internet and you have the most genuine expression when you see the car of your dream or by just expressing your appreciation on any cars that you found. i'm a new subscriber but i fell inlove with your videos immediately. you deserve a lot more subscribers, likes and views ! Have a great day Tom ! looking forward seeing your future videos
  • This has been so interesting and fun to follow. Thanks Tom and Hagerty for an inside view.

Loved this 'mini'-series of these two amazing cars. The story at the end was wonderful to hear, as well. It would be really cool if we'd get to see the cars all nicely washed and polished. Hope that episode will come out some day.

4:43 I could of swore that auctioneer jammed that guy in the head with his gavel. OMG so funny to watch over and over again. What was that guy thinking, luckily for the other guy he didn't have a letter opener in his hand geez.
  • @ukdnbmarsh
This guy is one of the very best auctioneers out there and a bloody nice chap to boot
