Eurovision 2024 - MY TOP 29 (New: 🇦🇹🇨🇾🇮🇸🇳🇱🇷🇸🇨🇭🇬🇧)

Trying to predict where 7 songs would fall in your top 29 was challenging, especially with 2 of them being entries I had absolutely no idea what you thought of them. I'll say my thoughts on the new entries along with any changes, songs we ranked the same, or rankings that shocked me. 25. Netherlands - I just had a feeling you weren't going to be a fan of this one. Why? It reminds me a lot of No Rules which you are also not a fan of. So, guess what? I love it lol. Bet you're not at all surprised by that. I ranked it 5th. This is easily my fave song that the Netherlands has ever sent to ESC. I predicted 21st for you just because I thought you might like it a bit more than Norway and Estonia, though. It's interesting that you have No Rules slightly above it since i definitely thought it'd be the other way around. 19. Serbia - So, obviously I had no idea if you'd like this or not. I went with you not liking it that much and predicted 20th. Pleased I was only 1 off! As you might remember, I find this very boring and am very disappointed, but not surprised, that this won. This is my 27th place. 18. Luxembourg - We both have this ranked 18th. I really wish I could understand why the fandom likes this so much more than Malta. 14. Iceland - So many people said it was dated and I let that affect my prediction on where you'd rank this, since I had absolutely no idea what you thought of it. I predicted 23rd. I'm glad you don't dislike it. I think this is very unpopular with the fandom, judging by the dated comments and its very poor showing on My Eurovision Scoreboard. I ranked it 15th so I'm glad we both feel similarly about it. 11. Lithuania - OMG! What? Why is this 11th?? 😭I wasn't expecting that at all, since it was 5th last time. Sorry, was just a little shocked seeing my 2nd place so unexpectedly out of your top 10. Have you gotten tired of it already? 10. Croatia - 7 new entries have been released and this is still 10th so at least I'm not too disappointed about this placement. i wouldn't have expected it to be much higher. 8. Malta - Same ranking! Yay! I'm glad this is still in your top 10. Poor Sarah is so underrated by the fandom. Shocking, I know. The fandom always underrates Malta except for Michela's and Destiny's entries. 7. Latvia - OMG! My mouth literally dropped open and I went, "What??" I know you said you said I'd be shocked by some of these rankings but I was thinking maybe you just meant Lithuania. What happened? Are you getting tired of it or do you just love the others that much more? 6. UK - Yay, so glad you like this! Way too many people are disappointed by it because it's not groundbreaking, earth shattering-ly different. I like it a lot too. I predicted 4th. And guess what? I also ranked it 6th, so, yay, same ranking! 5. Switzerland - I figured you'd like it (I mean I figured that before you told me you did). Did I know how much? Nope. So, I predicted 10th (before you said anything in your messages) because i figured that'd be a safe bet. I'm happy to see that you have this 5th. I have it 4th in my top so I'm glad we feel similarly about it. 4. Albania - So that reaction I had with Latvia? I had the same one here! No way did I see this coming. I figured she was still going to be 1st or 2nd after all these new entries. Are you getting tired of it, since we still don't have a revamp or music video? 3. Cyprus - I really thought this would be 1st or 2nd, so even though I'm only 1-2 off I still am surprised. Anyway, this is a bop and I also have it 3rd so I'm glad we both love it. Way too many people think it's cheap/generic/basic. 1. Austria - I didn't know the music video was out. Did this influence you putting her 1st? Because I predicted 8th since I don't think you're the biggest fan of club-type EDM, so this being 1st was a huge surprise. It's currently 9th for me. Maybe I'll like it more when I see the music video, but anyway, thanks to all these great entries on Thursday (as I mentioned, I really liked them all - they are all in my top 10), this is still a 9.5 out of 10 for me. However - and of course this might change - I still would say I like their 2020, 2022, and 2023 entries more.
