Last time I used the commodity trick I had the same thing happen with some of the loot. I also had so much loot that the skins were bugged, the chest of legends and the chest of fortune looked like regular chests, and my ammo boxes looked like fruit crates, among other discrepancies.

Toxie, just an fyi, this looks very similar to a glitch I experienced not to long ago a few days or couple weeks before season 9 launched: we went on our non cap brig to DaggerTooth Outpost and with the same strategy, we brought the rowey next to gold hoarder's rep, destroyed it and ALL our loot was gone. After tinkering for a while, we realized about the same glimmerish shine where our loot was supposed to be, and it was until much later we discovered you can "bury" the treasure and then immediately proceed to dig it out so it would bring it back to the surface. It was a excruciatingly long process but we finally managed to recover everything and sell it. I know it wouldnt have applied to your specific case but hope this is useful in the future.

Warning!! Don’t use harpoon boats with lots of loot use it with tiny amounts of loot it will glitch out if too much loot ( I don’t know how much) but this also happened to bardcore

If you tried to harpoon the glowy stuff from the reaper tent it might've pulled the loot to you. I've had this happen a few times. Glowy part somewhere and the chest modelt is somewhere else under it.

Dunno if anyone has said it but the loot despawning is more likely if the loot isnt like dead center of the rowboat. At least from my experience it also helps to keep the boat away from the elevator in the center. Im in no way saying it has to work, but from experience I can say it should help.

that rowboat's loot bug happened to me a few days ago, one of you have to disconnect and re-enter the server, after that the person who reconnects will see the loot (sorry for my bad english)

I had a similar issue with a rowboat before the my treasure just seemed to disappear, luckily I realized that although I couldn't pick it up or see it I could bury and unbury the treasure that disappear to make it appear again

I just had a similar glitch where someone let their ship despawn with chests on it. The chests were in the water next to the starting dock but the sparkle was on my ship or floatingin the air where my ship happened to be. I couldn't interact with the sparkle effect or the chest.

from my experience if you can see the glint of the item, you can harpoon it, even if the item “isn’t there”. happened with a captain’s key for me earlier. completely invisible item cannot pick it up, but i could see the glint and harpooning it brought it back into existence

Recently got one that me and my crew used along with 8 ritual skulls we dug up, got from skele ships, not to mention the ashen chests. We got up to 6 before we had to leave cause the promise of loot and people chasing us, and of course it was LATE.

Did this yesterday with double reward active. We started on a brig, got 5 ritual skulls in a fleet and then got one of these. 6 stacked fotd in 4 hours including preparation and selling

would you have been able to get the harpoon boat there and harpoon the loot out of the tent?

If u want to speed less dubloons you can buy 1 skull od destiny and only using it to light up the flames and to activate the fort you can use ritual skulls
