It's not scary to homeschool your high schoolers! Don't miss this video if language arts is a subject you are not sure how to teach in your homeschool to your teens. I go through the grammar, vocabulary and writing curriculum that I have used and will be choosing for my high school son this coming fall. I also share the schedule of how my son gets his language arts subjects done every week. Thanks for watching and remember, you can do this!!

If we are meeting for the first time, hello! My name is Jana and I am passionate about helping parents find joy in their homeschooling journey and to help them learn how to homeschool. If I can homeschool, YOU can too!

I am a veteran homeschool mom of eight children that has been homeschooling for over twenty years. AND I am still homeschooling my youngest two! I truly appreciate you being here and I hope I can be of help in your homeschooling journey. 🌼

  • You are right, there is not enough information on homeschooling high school and I am so grateful for your videos!
  • I need to dig this out of a box. I'm pretty positive I have this book already which would be super helpful for my upcoming 9th grader. Thanks for the reminder!

Do you have a video on what science curriculum with labs that you use?
  • Thank you so much for your high school content! I really appreciate hearing about the curriculum you’ve chosen for each subject. I would love more videos on curriculum, what subjects you “outsource”, how you do science courses with labs and all of that! I think I’ve got a high school plan started for my 8th grader, but I’m struggling to know what curriculum to plug in to each requirement. High School is a little daunting for me! Thanks so much!
  • Thank you very much again!!!! I have a silly question that I would like to ask you. Since the student studies Vocabulary + Grammar + Writing + Literatures almost every day, my question is "Should I plan about 30 minutes daily for each of the Vocabulary, Grammar, Writing and Literatures?". If that's true, it would take 2 hours each day only for the Language Arts. My original plan for English is only 1 hour per day. What do you think? Thank you for your time.
  • How can we learn what is on the ACT or SAT in order to teach to the test?
