Even as a Giants fan now. My favorite World Series was the first one I watched, and that was seeing the Cubs break their 108-year-old curse. That was pure, unadulterated drama. And I'm glad I saw it live.

After watching all that I realize that Joe Carter's HR for Toronto is still one of the most amazing sports moments of all time. No other finish in this video was as dramatic.

1:26 That call by the late Tom Cheek is an epic one. What a way to cap off a World Series. That home run by the Blue Jays' Joe Carter over the Phillies in 1993 was only the second time a home run has ended the series. The first was in 1960, when the Pirates' Bill Mazeroski hit one to give his team the win over the Yankees.

I so glad you used Harry kalas call for the Phillies win. One of the greatest voices in all of sports
  • The Yankees World Series celebration in 1996 is the best. Everyone players, managers, coaches, owners, ball and bat boys, even people who clean the dugouts and give the players water all hugging eachother in a big ball of legends, champions, and superstars!

As a die-hard Dbacks fan, that ‘01 series means the world to me. Gonzo, Randy, and Curt were immortalized here in PHX that night.

Even tho I’m a dodgers fan I think we can all agree it was nice to see manny machado strike out on a knee

A homerun win by the underdog team has to be the best.

Just an observation. The last two celebrations have been unique. A player throwing his glove directly at the opposing team, and then the pitcher on the dodgers just literally standing there not even jumping around.

According to my video play, Wells Fargo won the 1994 World Series.

Can’t lie, the best ones on this imo were the Cubs and the 2011 Cardinals ESPECIALLY the Cardinals being down to their finals strike twice in game 6

As a Giants fan, I will forever cherish the Even Year Giants. All three of those runs were nothing but torture to triumph. The 2010 miSFits are still extremely beloved in the bay. 2012 was clutch. 2014 was legendary. Thank you Bruce Bochy for those great years.
  • Thank you for putting the Harry Kalas call for the 2008 Phillies rather than Joe Buck, means a lot to me as a Phillies fan

When I heard “AND ITS STRIKE 3 DODGERS HAVE WON IT ALL IN 2020” I dropped to my knees and screamed...then I cried...I was born in 92...I had seen the Rams win a Super Bowl, the Lakers win the Finals, the Galaxy win the MLS Cup, and the Kings win the Stanley Cup...I finally saw the Dodgers win the Series!
  • I never believed the Royals would make back to back world series appearances. I'm a KC native and 2014 and 2015 was something beautiful.

Losing four World Series out of five in the '90s is really rough but Atlanta finally got it done in 2021.
  • @Thestanimal3
As a Marlins fan I will always remember Craig Counsell rushing towards home plate jumping so high, what an explosion of utter joy!
  • 4 walk off hits in 30 years and none since '01... We are due for a walk off in game 7 one of these years...

2004, 2011, 2016, and 2017 were easily the best post season years in recent history that I can remember. The post seasons were just so electric.
