  • It never ceases to amaze me how these videos looks so low quality but in those times watching them on TV they didn't seem so bad
  • “The crowd will tell you what happens” is one of the greatest calls of all time. Love how the announcer doesn’t have to say anything and just lets you enjoy the moment
  • The middle part of this video is a dang Mariano Rivera highlight reel.
  • @davissae
Never thought I’d hear “the Orioles are the world Champions”
  • That’s what I love about baseball, you can’t just run out the clock, you gotta beat make outs until you win. That’s why each of these plays a special and different in their own way.

I loved Vin Scully's non-call to start. "The crowd will tell you what happened" and then he says nothing. He was the master of silence.

Indians giving everyone World Series but themselves lol
  • @KevyNova
I’m not a baseball fan myself but this video made me cry twice: My dad’s favorite team, The Yankees, won in ‘98, his last World Series before cancer took him. My best friend’s favorite team, The Giants, won in 2010, his last World Series before cancer took him.

I'll bet that Joe Carter has not had to buy a drink in Toronto for the last 25 years...

The fact that you used the clip of Harry Kalas in 2008, as opposed to Joe Buck... Mad respect for you!! Thanks for that!

It’s amazing to see how often teams repeat going to the series. Even if they don’t win. It’s a testament to how good their team is.
  • @yulewave1
I love how in the 80s fans were able to storm the field and join in the celebration
  • The 1991 World Series was the most gut wrenching, nail biting series ever. The best World Series EVER. Puckett hitting a HR in extra innings to force Game 7 and then Game 7 won in the 10th inning 1-0. John Smoltz and Jack Morris both pitched incredible with Morris pitching 10 shutout innings. Think that would ever happen today?
  • I still get chills when watching Joe Carter's 3-run homer in 93. Will never in my life forget that moment!
  • @Jiltedin2007
R.I.P.: Harry Kalas, who called his last game when the Philadelphia Phillies won the 2008 World Series.

As a Jays fan, back to back wins in '92 and '93 take the cake. Especially with Tom Cheek's radio call of: "Touch 'em all, Joe! You'll never hit a bigger home run in your life!" (R.I.P. Tom Cheek!) But man, that 2001 D-Backs/Yankees matchup was one of the best World Series I have ever seen. What a series.
