It's absolutely mind boggling that a politician gets caught on audio saying he will advise a wannabe dictator who just incited an insurrection, to resign but has to now backtrack because that's somehow bad for his party. WTF...

I'm a pagan. For the first time in my life I've been harassed about it starting in 2018. It's 2022 and I still get it now. My next door neighbor is Egyptian and Muslim marrying into a Catholic family. My neighbors families have no issues with this. But in 28 years of being here, my neighbor is having issues now with people. To me, his wedding is everything I love about America. Two of his four groomsmen are Jewish, third I'm pagan, and fourth is his youngest brother (also Muslim). My mom is a bridesmaid (evangelical Christian). And to me, that's everything I love about this stupid beautiful fucked up country. It's all of us coming together and celebrating all for all and cheering each other on. Whatever deity you believe in, bless the United States, bless the world, and let's see an end to violent and hateful division. My Mom and I agree on almost nothing, but I still see her almost every day and we enjoy the time together.
