How good were the 80s into thr 90s you had all time great Lakers and Celtics teams and then one of the greatest teams ever the Pistons filled the gap from those teams to the Bulls. Crazy

They were so good, they almost had a threepeat in the 80's, defeated the legendary teams, that's how good they are

Who cares what people think of you hold up to your standards & it doesn’t matter I was proud to be a Detroit Piston fan win or lose that goes with the Lions, Tigers and Red Wings 🎉
  • They were a deep, talented team. But, history will judge them as a bunch of jealous, classless, thugs, that intentionally tried to ruin people's careers, with their ridiculously dirty play. Period.
  • I have a James Edwards story, and I NEVER forgave Edwards for this: I was born in Seattle in 1973, where I grew up. Sonics and Blazers fan. I went to USC my first two years of college. James Edwards had just been traded to the Clippers. We saw him at the Beverly Center. I told him I was from Seattle. My roommate said to him, "Hey James! If I coached an NBA team, I wouldn't want you on it!" James Edwards said, "What!" My roommate said, "Yeah, you're really soft. You like to shoot turnaround jump shots, but would rather leave the rough stuff like rebounding and defense for others to do." Edwards crosses his arms. My roommate said, "And, you never made an All-Star team." 0:08 Edwards started walking towards my roommate, walking EXACTLY like that! What a prick Edwards is! He should have said "I've won two (at that time) championships, and earned $10 million playing in the NBA. What have YOU done?" Or, "You couldn't make an All-Star team in an elementary school league!" My roommate did NOT say anything racial or about Edwards' family. It was all BASKETBALL related trash. I thought so much less of Edwards after this transgression.
