at the very least, adult swim lets their creators be weird. shorts like opal are unlike anything i've seen and their shows have an identity. with comedy central, they're all pretty much the same show. i wouldn't be surprised if this lasted like 13 episodes at the most

When I tell people I’m majoring in animation, their first question is, “ Like, for kids?” And I say, “Not particularly.” And then they say, “Oh, so like, Family Guy?” I really wish people could expand their views of what animation can do. Hopefully we’ll see more well made projects that go towards changing that.

Colorado fun fact: "South Park" is just a colloquial name used by locals to describe a smallish valley region in the rockies. The official name of the main town up there is Fairplay. There's also a little, seemingly-unincorporated town somewhere in the mountains called Fairview. No idea if they're related, but considering the "animation" style...
