Ozzy had his Howling Young Voice + Iommi's early metal sound there's really nothing better than that time period for them.... Nothing will ever sound that good again..... the planets aligend and spawned 4 of the most hellacious musician's ever....

Best band ever. Enough said. 🙏

The sounds still send chills down my spine. This is the best I've heard Ozzy's voice on this song. It's hard to believe it's been almost 40 years since these guys broke. One thing for certain, they don't come like this any more. LONG LIVE THE MASTERS!

this must have been 1968. Can you imagine the blank stares from the audience...? Some of us had mischievous grins when we first heard them.

This is the only band that can make this sound quality sound like it was supposed to be this way. Love how fast its played at parts. And Oz's voice is insane.

Wow this sounds fabulous on my mobile phone Imagine how it was live No wonder they lead the world in metal. Love Sabbath.
  • I wish we had the chance to watch the video of the first time they played this song and see the reaction of the audience.

Hot DAM!! That's gotta be my favorite version of that song! Ozzy's vocals and Tony's picking are STELLAR..Geezer and Bill round out with perfect darkness! MAN! That was awesome-

Is it bad that I love the image that this song paints in my mind? One of my all time favorites. The first metal song ever written! The song that started it all. If they only knew back then what they had created. Long live the mighty sabbath! \m/

No Not Paris 70. Paris 70 Ozzy says "Tell that bloke to shut his trap" in the introduction. It's from The Fillmore West 11-27-70 Bootleg.

If that gorgeous intro was off the cuff, it's even more impressive.
