I have to make a clarification before: The track number 02, Thomas James, is a studio jam recorded by the polish band SBB in the mid-70s, featuring Tomasz Stańko on trumpet. Many people, including me, thought that was Black Sabbath for many years. Thanks!

Ozzy’s voice is insane man. It just sounds unlike anyone else to this day. You can hear it’s absolutely effortless

I can imagine Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple and Black Sabbath in the kitchen figuring out what too cook for the new decade (70's). Led Zeppelin throws in some Blues, Deep Purple throws in some Classical Music and Black Sabbath throws in some Jazz.....and there you have the recipe for Heavy Metal.

This is one of the clearest versions ever. Most versions of the demo used to be really muddy sounding. This one is awesome.

Wow Ozzy and Sabbath are like kin to me they thought me how to be, what to avoid alot of my belief system came directly from their music. Ive never been prison, I am not hooked on drugs and I love everyone I meet. I believe myself to be a truly good person. I owe it all to them... Thanks for a very special piece...

So this was what they did before they became black sabbath. I remember their first album, oh man they got tagged early as devil music, that's when I discovered a whole album of the heavy, which I had been craving . Heavy music has come along way. Thanks to Tony Iommi, and other pioneering musicians for their great contributions to all forms of the Heavy. HAIL Thee Eternal Heavy !!!

💥 I've always loved Ozzy's amazingly crystal clear vocals! The ONLY one I can think of who sounds ALOT like Ozzy is Roy Wood. He and Ozzy are both from Birmingham & are friends & have both supported eachother at times. Roy (qqv The Move, ELO and Wizzard) should have gotten WAY more famous with that voice. I think he was just way too much in his own zone. But his vocals have always been great! And he had/has a very similar tone. Check out "Blackberry Way" by The Move and smile! Many other lost lost gems there. Maybe they're both related?
