  • I just love Jen's way of thinking in terms of an art process, very spectacular.
  • I found this to be a very moving painting - the flashes of red and yellow are sobering when you consider the history of the landscape. You captured the vastness of the landscape brilliantly. If I ever get back to London I look forward to viewing this work in the flesh. Bravo Jen!

To be honest, first I thought one of the other two finalist where better in painting. But now I saw this episode, I only could say: Jen is the perfect winner for this year in particular. I was very moved by her feelings, her way of painting, her... euh, everything. I'm not a native English speaker, so I can't put down the right words. Anyway, she is very, very inspiring for me (as a beginning artist). Thank you for letting us see this show in The Netherlands. <3 And thank you Jen for telling a war story of soldiers, in every country, in every episode in time.

Beautiful countryside, a moving commission, and a most empathetic winner. Thank you.
  • @def4dawg
I felt her other paintings looked like dark mud. This on the other hand, looks like less dark mud.
  • Artist Martin is the most my favourit Artist during this session. if he didn't change his mono chrome style, would become a winner I hope!!
  • @Jigger2361
...I hope Jen Gash is doing well in 2023!
  • Now I see how art is really in the eyes of the beholder. Very disappointed with the results. The other two artists were better contenders. What were they thinking? All the best to you Jen.
