SO. MUCH. SYMBOLISM. This is how I see it: Two people are depicted. One is a man; looking strong, pure and untouched. His eyes are closed; he sees no evil the world around him. The other a woman; beautiful, strong, precise and graceful. YET, she has been backstabbed. Her eyes are sadly opened to the truth. The arrows add a chilling touch that points out how this is a historical issue. The woman's skin cracked with gold hints at the true value, beauty and rareness hidden behind the skin colour. We can also see two white figures, with no face. They fight and dance. With no facial emotions. With no consideration with whats around them as they are willingfully blind. We see glimpses of the woman; healed near the end. She is walking with grace and proudly. The golden cracks are gone. This gives hope that change is here or near. This my take. Thanks SIR for blowing my mind early in 2024

I’ve been a fan of SiR for a cool minute…. And what I love most about his music is it takes you on a journey. You’ll be amazed and on a sonic high from the production, melodies, chords, progressions etc. and then when you finally get passed all that after listening to a song however many times you realize this negro’s pen game is just insane. This man’s writing and lyrics is just crazy

This man here!!!! He came into my life in 2023 musically, and I am in awe of his talent, aesthetics, and ability to tap into human emotion vocally. He is my FAVORITE artist currently and I am so excited about this song and video. To see the progression and growth of his sound and visuals are amazing to watch.

This single really caught me off guard because it really shows the versatility of SiR‘s artistry! I didn’t except his new song to sound like this at all and that’s what I love about him and his music - never a miss. This song is so full of emotions and power and it’s uniqueness really makes me love it even more.
