ESPN senior NFL writer Bill Barnwell joined One Bills Live and discussed whether or not the Bills should trade up in round one of this year's NFL Draft. He shared his thoughts on why a trade back might be Buffalo's best bet to collect more draft capital. He examined the middle wave of wide receivers that could be a fit for the Bills offense, strategic moves to benefit a roster build, and how many WRs could be selected in the first round. Finally, he talked about how the quarterback market in the draft could play a role in talent moving up and down the board in round one.

I hate this time of the year. This draft talk goes on and on and a ton of “expert” analysts give their insight and then the draft goes way different than anyone anticipated. I can’t go on YouTube without getting inundated with mock drafts suggested to me. Let’s get this damn thing over with so we can talk about Bills football and the upcoming season!
  • Trade down, take two receivers in round 2-4 and fill in with edge, safety, oline and rb
  • @jamescadzow9545
Rome Odunze 1st, Xavier Legette 2nd round. Do whatever you have to do to get this done. Set up Josh for the rest of his career.

The Bills just need guys to catch the ball and move the chains. Moving up isn't my preference.

Bills need to think about the future I’d say trade back unless get more value and pick up some more young talent to keep the team competitive for years to come
  • @ifedero3762
Bills have too many holes to fill and the WR class is set up perfectly for them to move down, shore up some of the losses and still get a lotto pick for a pro bowl type talent in round 2 or 3
  • @itsnotaus
All of Bills media needs a facelift
  • Massive WR run starting at #29, after the top 4 maybe 5 are gone. Trading back will backfire. Top 12 WR will be gone.

Go draft Adonai Mitchell & call it a day. Get Persell from fld rs 2

There isn't a "sure thing" at 28.. that's why you fall back and get another pick in the 2nd or 3rd to take another swing.
  • Trade down the 1st to the Giants or the Raiders for their 2024 2nd round pick & a 2025 2nd round pick. Maybe a 2025 5th or 6th pick also.
  • IF THE BILLS REALLY WANT TO WIN A CHAMPIONSHIP , THEY WILL DRAFT A DEFENSIVE TACKLE with their 1st pick no matter where that may be. RENTAL D TACKLES HAVE NOT CUT IT. We need a home grown young d-tackle to line up next to oliver.P L E A S E!!

Down is the responsible thing to do. So naturally they will push for top 10 to get Odunze.

Wanted to wish Steve a Happy Bday week(Tonawanda guy) in South Florida!
  • Bills fans ARE NOT the ones clamoring for HALL OF FAME RECEIVER OR BUST!! it is Podcaster and 1bills live folks that are making it seem that way. WE WANT A GOOD TEAM..not FANTASY PLAYERS...IF your D can't stop anybody in the last 2 min of games..WHAT IS THE POINT????
