2020-10-09に共有
A quick look at how to polish your favourite agates and other beautiful rocks collected from rockhounding. See how I polish my rocks from agates to Rhyolite, Amygdaloidal basalt and waterline agates, and how each becomes even more of a treasure after polishing.

Tools used:
•Variable speed Rotary Sander (purchased at any good hardware store).
•Diamond Polishing Pads and accessories (purchased on eBay)

  • 10:35 - Incredible! I love the depth of that shooting star - literally 3d. <3
  • I get a kick out of the galaxy stone. They are all so beautiful, the lines in the agates.
  • Man! You’re a freaking wizard! Video suggestion: how to change scenary just by blinking your eyes!
  • I love that you brought them back to the creek to show them in their new glory! I'll bet next time you hound that area, there'll be agates jumping out at you saying, "pick me! I want a polish too!" Fine work as always, thanks for the soapy water tip!
  • Jess, for what it's worth, Don't change what you are doing, just be you and keep going, it is what makes your videos so worth watching, you will probably change a little in the natural course of time as most of us do and we can take the journey with you. Your success is due to being who you are and doing what you do.

You are an artist! You see beauty exactly where most would think of as imperfections.
  • From all my heart of the rookiest of rookies - thank you so very much! I learned from you a lot - and I admire your work a lot!
  • I am also polishing rocks with those pads, but I use a dril in a stand so it is stadier. And i built a structure whit a watering system and a water collection container. So I have no dust at all and I stay clean and dry. I love you see doing it. I got a special polishing pad fore the last stage from a oficial polishing shop. Love the fact you find your own rocks and polish. I don't have that possibility unfortunately. Because there is nothing to find in my country. My profile picture is at that gem shop I got the polishing pad.
