Kia Ora, A DNA test was done before we met..however our looks alone could probably give it away 😅He is a great man and although he never knew of my existence my mum always told me about my father. There's a truth behind the story but at the end of day, I was able to make a connection with him and continue through to today. I am so blessed and I can only hope others out there get the opportunity like I. God bless you all Nga mihi Piki
  • I love these stories. I was adopted at birth in 1964 by lovely parents. In 1985 when I was 21 I found my birth mother. She had married my birth father two years after I was born. So I was also able to meet a 15 year old sister and 11 year old brother! It's been almost 37 years and I'm still close with my family

Omg Piki looks EXACTLY like her dad😁
  • I love it when adopted kids get to meet their birth parents. I was adopted at birth, always knew I was and always knew the names of my biological mom and dad....I met my biological father when I was 2 and didn't get to meet my mom until I was 25. We started talking when I was 23 and the day I was able to meet her after 25 years was literally the BEST day of my life. We are super close now 😀

Many men wouldn't be so nice as this guy. Many men couldn't care less about their kids.
  • I will never understand how a mother could take her children away from their father, and then to let the kids think the father had abandoned them! This is NOT what a "loving mother" does!

Omg father and daughter got me crying. Good luck too them 😢😢😢😢
  • Wayne’s ex-wife is a despicable individual. Taking his girls away and causing him 25 years of emotional torture…while manipulating and making them believe he wanted nothing to do with them…utter disgrace

I’m absolutely thrilled for Wayne, Piki and Fiona…their faces after meeting their birth families are indescribably happy!
  • Omg Piki is so beautiful she looks like her daddy, I'm so glad everything turned out. God bless them all 🙏💜💜💜

I love when Piki's father saw the video and as the screen was turned on he knew she was his daughter.I'm so very happy for them

David , hats off to your researchers for actually finding nice locations to film in Oldham , it must have been a challenge back then , it would be virtually impossible today , I have lived in Oldham for all of my 64 years and nowadays it's not as it was 20,30 or even 40 years ago , then, it had character , sadly, not any more, you didn't get to see it at it's best, I love watching your videos , I always need plenty of tissues , you make a lot of people very happy , that is an awesome thing to do.

I really feel for Gladys. It's clear that Fiona's birth is tied to some intense trauma for her, and I can't say I blame her for not wanting to meet her daughter for the first time under the lens of a camera! I'm so glad she went to meet her before she left the UK.

I’ve seen this before. It is so heartwarming.
