Far Cry 3 MOD IT! 3 : How to Install Mods

basically, here's a summed up version make a backup folder in your fc3 folder titled whatever you want it, preferably "backup" go into the bin folder and grab FC3.dll and FC3_d3d11.dll and copy em into your backup folder then go into your data_win32 folder and grab patch.dat and patch.fat and copy paste em into your backup folder since the mods you install modify these files in particular, if you need to uninstall them and go back vanilla, just use these backup files in their resepctive folders and replace the modified ones for installing mods, unzip the mod files and replace them in your actual (not backup) fc3 folders where they should go, and that should be it

Yeah Thanks, I guess I did it right the first time, was just expecting the red bubbles over their heads,but it just lets you see through walls,which is even better without them. I liked your tutorial, you made things very simple to learn.

Thats great and all but what if you want more than one mod, that uses patch.fat ect are you able to combine them?

Do I get the reset outpost option with this mod? I'm asking this because in my version there isn't any option like that..

sorry - I like to make my tutorials in depth, clear with plenty of backups. I'm sure there are quick alternatives around if thats what you're after. But I want people to understand what they are doing and to make sure they can get back to their original gamestate. Thanks for watching and I hope you find some tutorials you prefer. Adi

awesome video super helpful backup process

in the middle of 2022 I'm having a problem my game opens but it's not in story mode I click but it doesn't work it only works if I delete the game profile from the documents folder and the save game from the app data folder but I wanted to reset the game with the mod but it won't if every time I enter you have to eat again

I want to use the better sights mod along with the attachments mod but both of them replace the same files. How do I run both of them together? can I do that?

When we creat back up folder can we copy bin and data win 32 in far cry 3 folder
