  • China does not recognize the UNCLOS ruling. Yet China cited UNCLOS as a ground for annexing Vietnamese territorial waters. Such duplicity.
  • The Chinese sea claim is literally the whole breadth of sea area between china , vietnam and philipines. Where do they think filips would go for fishing. The coast guard activity is nothing but harassment.
  • You’re not in the middle of South China Sea. You’re within the 200 Nautical miles Exclusively Economic Zone of the Philippines
  • @JinFurikusu
If the US wants to assert whose territory belongs to whom, then stop calling it the South China Sea!
  • @makubex2kro
UN international court has only fangs on Africa and weak countries but on China... naaahhh.. pathetic..😂😂😂
  • @dragoniv
Water cannons are a weapon that causes structural and possibly personal damage, and are being used on civilian ships. That's not a defensive posture.
  • @chicanohek
If anyone noticed, Taiwans claims to the South China Sea mirror maintain China’s claims. Interesting to note.

China has really violated Philippine sea How can China say that the all South sea is ours, knowing that the sea is far away and close to the Philippines? When you see China on the map, it is far away from the Philippine, and there are islands around the Philippines that China built, how is that right?

I'll tell you why: a neighboor has the audacity to disrespect ALL its neighboors within their own economic zones. :)
  • @DrBiBeatz
Stop calling it, south china sea because you're validating Chinese claims.
  • @spagsauce
the fact that we are calling it "South China Sea" when the area is far from China and is surrounded by South East Asian countries.
  • @delphipascal
Never see China pick on Russia or Japan. Always going after the small guys. Like the illegal fishing off the South American coast.

One could argue that Duterte was one of the worst presidents the Philippines had, given his reluctance to defend the nation and his focus on killing the most economically disadvantaged Filipinos, regardless of their age.

Sees a place where they can extract resources. China: let’s claim that place as well no matter how far it is from our country

If the CHinese were basing their claim on historical data then the British can claim India as well?
