Idk why everyone's getting mad. He's not trying to be frank, he's not trying to be better than him. Let the man dedicate a song to a legend and just appreciate the good music. If it's not your shit then it's not your shit but as far as I'm concerned both versions are fire in different ways

Mad Respect for this dude. He does what he feels, and that’s how you get good music. Do I miss battle rapper MGK, yes. Do I still appreciate his music, absolutely. Regardless, one of the best modern musicians.

This is the side of MGK I love the most. His new pop punk stuff is amazing and I can’t stop listening to MS and TTMD but I miss when he used to spit as he has such a talent for it. The chill rap with subtle rock undertones like this, his lockdown sessions and parts of hotel Diablo are where he fucking shines man 🔥
