Mt Edith Cavell at Jasper National Park

Published 2024-03-11
Mt. Edith Cavell was on my wish list for a long time until the summer in 2022. We ventured out from home and stayed quite a number of days at the campground just outside the town of Jasper. It was a wonderful summer for all the activities we did in Jasper and its surrounding areas.

The drive from the campground to the TH of Mt. Edith was not long, but we started rather early in order to secure parking lots for us and our friends. The parking lots filled up very quick around 8:30 in the morning. But the good thing is that there were lots of people went there just for the glacier, which might take about 1 hour or so to complete. Therefore, there are chances of finding a parking lot once they completed the short trail to the Angel Glacier.

We went up to the meadows and further up to the view point. It was more a half day business. The views were absolutely beautiful once arrived at the parking lots.

Well, we will definitely go there again some time this summer!
