Sky's Stuart Ramsay reports from the West Bank where in the past week and a half alone, over 60 people have been shot dead by Israeli marksmen, and more than 1,300 have been wounded.

The West Bank is seething after the Gaza hospital disaster, and there are now three days of mourning and a general strike there after violence in the troubled region.

PROPS to the camera guy for the zoom in on the Molotov cocktails right at the end of that epic for only stones..... narration.

Being terrible combatants doesn't make them not enemy combatants.
  • Same problem in Kashmir India. By the same peacefuls. This is not stone pelting. This is rock pelting. Our army deals this with sticks and smoke and is still blamed for troubling civilians. This even costs the life of our soldiers But Israel govt is dealing with this just as it should be treated. Don’t want to be shot at then don’t pelt rocks
  • They're not "Throwing Stones". They're launching projectiles from slings.
  • @utubewillyman
I like how they call it a "Day of Rage". Just one day? Really? Is there any day they're not raging?
  • @whip689
They're considered "combatants" under the UCMJ and Geneva Convention Agreement. Soldiers regardless of carrying Slings wirh Rock, Guns, Molotov Cocktails or Knives. When designated as Terrorists there is not much to protect them.
  • @MustardSkaven
They're not just throwing stones, they are slinging stones. Which was a common weapon of war until a few hundred years ago.
  • @homonovo
They aren’t “throwing” stones, they’re using slings which are actually deadly.
  • @tylerbyrd9352
phrasing it as "protesters throwing stones" seems kind of irresponsible. Those are slings they are using, it's a very old school ranged weapon and can definitely be lethal to anyone not wearing helmets.
  • @joshbegin7083
This is not throwing stones, its Shooting Stones , a deadly weapon .
  • @dokterjp95
"throwing stones", they're using slings. It's the equivalent of using a bow and arrow against a armed soldier...ofc they were shot.
  • @rogerfigas
Throwing stones against modern weapons it´s not very smart...
  • security forces have a right to self defense against stones that can kill
  • As someone who fought in two wars I can say with confidence the Hamas misfire wasn't a misfire. It was strategic to put blame on their enemy Israel

Shot for just throwing stones (which are deadly) but also show they are armed with molotov cocktails...I wonder did they have one or two guns too? How come they didn't leave like the Israelis warned them too?

anyone who’s ever become proficient with a sling will know how deadly they are. An egg sized stone will release from a sling at around 160kph and have the same energy as a 9mm bullet fired from a hand gun. Accurate reporting is crucial for truth and reasoning.

Slinging a rock is deadly. We had a soldier in Iraq that had jaw dislocated from a rock thrower. Insurgents would sometimes drop large rocks from overpasses onto military convoys.

And now that it has been established that the attack on the hospital in Gaza was not by deliberate or accidental firing of missiles or dropping of bombs by the IDF but from a failed rocket fired by Hamas, one more lie and more wrong instance of blaming the infidels has been exposed. But then, we have always seen how they feel towards infidels.....blame them for all the supposed wrongs as followers of the 'peaceful' religion can never be wrong.
