Hasht Behesht Palace, literally meaning "the Eight Heavens" in Persian, is a 17th-century pavilion in Isfahan, Iran, built in the Suleiman I (the eighth shah of Iran's Safavid Empire) era. This pavilion and the surrounding garden is situated on the east of Chahar Bagh Street, which I made a video about that before. I was going to visit Chehel Sotoun (literally: “Forty Columns”) Pavilion too, but it was closed for two days, due to pest control, so I couldn’t record any footage there. I hope that you enjoy and like this video.

I found this building as the most beautiful in Isfahan.

Thank you as usual for the filming and posting. very beautiful and helpful filming, particularly showing the details. Pls do not forget to mention that this building was owned privately for most of 20th century. There are photos of what that family had carelessly done to the building, by stripping its entire outside and columns from decoration, covering them in a fake "French" plaster work or no decoration at all. The interior walls were also plastered over by the. Zillisultan was criminal for sure, yanking out and selling what he could from the palace. But it was that stupid local family that damaged this historic building the most in the 20th century. That old chandelier is all that is left of their intervention. It is not a Safavid original. They never used European style chandeliers, but their own beautiful glass bulbs containing candles. (btw/ Fitali shah and his sex mania occured in here too? Good God: it never ends)
