Hi Jacob! It's ("Enigma" instagram account) Since you are so comprehensive and articulate in your descriptions of your observations dealing with schiz; would you be open to the idea of critiquing one of the simulators of schizophrenia videos as to whether they are accurate or realistic? I know experiences are different from person to person but I think your scientific observation of it would be interesting. I Think you're awesome. You have taught me (us) much in a very coherent and fascinating way. I wonder if you realize how much you have greatly contributed to the understanding of this illness to the masses. Thank you. till the next video. :) I'm thums up #9

Could you make a video about the portrayal of schizophrenia in the media? I think that'd be quite interesting.
  • Some nights, when it's dark, I start freaking out for no reason. And the fear often triggers weird things to happen, like last time I felt something was standing beside my bed, a presence. Then I thought my cat was in the wardrobe as I heard something moving but i knew he was in a different room. Later on I heard whispers. Another night it was quiet, but I suddenly heard a yell! When the nights are like that, i usually can't sleep and stay in my room with the light on. It's terrifying to me.

My voices talk to each other and narriate my daily activities, some say they love me,others tell me to kill people, the demons say theyre going to posess me,hurt me etc.i hate when they mumble sometimes.

I love your videos, they're very informative and I love your outlook on life.

maybe you should make a vid just listening to the voices and saying what they say. My voices were a guy and a girl, thick ghetto/black accent talking to eachother commenting on everything I'm doing, usually being kind of mean, but the bad part about it is they were always somewhere people could be like outside the window or in the next aisle over in a grocery store, around a corner ect. and if I went to look to see if there were people there they would stop or be somewhere else out of sight. They were always the same people so I learned to usually be able to tell if it was them or real people.
  • so I don't usually have voices I hear out in the physical.. but if you've ever talked to yourself in your head and heard that voice in your imagination, that's where my voices talk and they can talk a LOT. they've told me to kill myself, they guilt me and told me on several occasions to start a suicide note. It may be schizophrenia or something else, but I feel these thoughts/voices are too common for me to say I'm normal and on top of that I get anxiety, paranoia and delusions and have had mood swings and depression in the past. No matter what it is, I'm currently diagnosed with Schizoaffective Disorder
  • First of all, I would like to thank you so much for sharing your experience. I have always been fascinated by mental illness and how they affect people, or how these people think and see the world. You helped me so much to understand more about them, I'm even using this knowledge to help me when I write about the topic. Secondly, I would like to suggest a video showing your point of view of various subjects you feel comfortable talking, because I feel like you think different of others, and it would be very interesting. Thanks :) (and sorry for my bad english lol) (do a video outside too when you overcome the insecurity, I and many others would love)

Great video - I agree with you schizophrenia is very fascinating - you mentioned hearing voices when you are lying down in bed trying to sleep, that is the time my voices first started and my psychiatric nurse said a lot of her patients say their voices get worse when they are lying down in bed trying to sleep

i found this channel today and i’ve been watching a lot of videos of him talking about his mental illness since i am extremely fascinated by and interested in these topics. i really wonder what he saw during this video, but i do understand that this might be too personal. i‘m definitely grateful that he‘s sharing his experience and talking about it so freely.

You can make a vlog no.2 like what's going on in your life right now, future plans, how do you spend a typical day at home etc. Or you can make a video about your favourite films and films you wanna see. Or you can talk about how you get over a 'depressive episode' like how do you stay positive, what helps you in difficult times to move on.

Every time I have a vivid dream. I have strange conversations too, but by the time I wake up I can't remember anything. It's almost like there's two of me, and one of me is stuck in highschool forever.

Another great video Jacob, could u do a video on panic attacks and how to deal with them , explain how it feels like and why it happens (flight or fight)
  • Could you make a video about experience with therapy and psychiatric evaluations? I'm not sure if you've made a video over the topics but if like to hear your experiences with it only because I'm going to have to go thru it soon.I really appreciate your videos, keep going strong. 😊

5:30 the guy who invented PCR tests (like for COVID, & a mil other revolutionary things in science); he pulled over on the side of the road, & hallucinated an alien telling him the techniques. he won the nobel prize for that. real or not. _JC
