  • Since I don't live in "The People's Republic of California" I just got my SBR tax stamp from the ATF for my PS90 and thanks to your video, I'll feel confident installing it soon! Thanks for the video--and yes, you do make it look easy--which means you know what you're doing! I appreciate your video!

This video was an awesome help. I mailed off my form 1 to SBR my PS90 2/27/17 and just got it back approved 9/29/17. Seven long months kind of flew by. I took off my original barrel and replaced it with the CMMG 10.4" one in just a matter of minutes. I watched this video several times during the wait for the tax stamp. Only thing I did different was use an automatic center punch to get starting divot for the drill bit. Thanks for the video.
  • Thank you for this video, it gave me the courage to do it myself, I'm a novice gunsmith and I hate taking my projects to have someone else do them. I replaced my barrel with a CMMG 10.4" and the P90 break after my form 1 came in(took 28 days 1/13/2020 to 2/11/2020). Everything came out perfect, and my 16" barrel and shroud is still in tact. Again, much thanks!

You make it look simple - as a good mechanic should. Thanks for the information and technique!
  • @Bubblyhiccups
Thanks! Short and straight to the point. Working as you’re talking. 👍
  • Even though this video is old. Followed the instructions and it worked perfectly. I replaced my barrel with a short barrel. The original barrel and shroud are in perfect condition besides the tiny hole to remove the PIN. Thank you. It was as easy as you demonstrated.

Great video. Worked like a charm. About to install my 10.4 cmmg for my sbr!
  • @drickard67
Mad props to you...saved me a half hour headache!
  • @Shademastermcc
This was unbelievably helpful. Thank you. The biggest issue is realizing the entire front part of the barrel is not the barrel. Once you showed that, this was an easy job to do.

Man that thing was on tight and they really weren't generous with the real estate to get a wrench on there. But in the end it came off. Many thanks for putting that video up here guys.

This method will absolutely not work for California due to new laws. Current AW regulations require that anything added to the barrel/muzzle to achieve 30” OAL is required to be permanently attached (blind pinned and welded, circumference welded, or High Temp Silver Solder). It is also arguable that Federal OAL may not be satisfied due to the lack of permanence of the attached shroud. There’s a reason FN blind pinned the factory shroud.
  • Where are all the removed 16in barrells? I would like to purchase one
  • @Batman7227
If I want to swap the barrel with the cmmg 10 in, do I need to drill the pin out or go straight for loosening the rear thread?
