Prayers for you Sammie and for your family. Glad to hear your son is better. Strep can be fatal. Almost lost my daughter to a strep infection that lead to necrotizing fasciitis in her arm. Praise God for healing. I love your channel and the changes. You inspire me to look at discarded items and repurpose. There are so many channels doing DT projects and they can get boring and repetitive. Because of your ideas, I look at things thru the minds eye, how can I create more beauty with this. Please don't be discouraged with the flips you are doing now. Your creativity inspired me to purchase DIY Paints, try IOD products, and start my own little Etsy shop of thrifted flips. I've watched you pretty regularly for just over a year now, and (I remember when you lost your brother) I still make the time to watch your new videos because you always have new ideas and see creativity in flips that other creators just don't. And I agree -- you're a great online teacher. I enjoy listening to your videos! I'm a military wife and mom of four, as well, so I completely get the "when it rains." It's so true. That fever sounds very scary, and I'm so glad they got it figured out and under control. Don't ever feel bad for taking the time to grieve and just inhale your sweet kiddos -- sometimes their cuddles are the only thing that can calm an aching heart. Do what brings you joy and rest in God's peace that surpasses any understanding we can even begin to imagine or experience. I know you know this! ❤

First and foremost Sammie. You are amazing in more ways than you know your resiliency, and your tenacity is palpable. Not to mention you are crazy talented and creative.You are an inspiration. As we all know trends change, and I have noticed that a lot of the Youtubers have added shop along with them videos. It may be a trend, but I have to admit I do enjoy them. I find myself gravitating towards the ones who take me shopping, live along with them, and then show me what they do with the items whether they are just planning on reselling them as is or making them over and then selling them, which are actually my favorite, seems to be how a lot of Youtubers are pivoting.just wanted to add my two cents worth and encourage you to keep going . I loved all of these projects as always but I really liked how the cover of that hymnal turned out! Absolutely gorgeous!! Please do not doubt yourself or be discouraged by social media. As for the book cover...... The White was definitely the right choice! Beautiful❤ And omg!!! Another baby?? Wow, that's awesome. Congratulations. Lastly, I lost my sister to cancer. She was 31 and died 3 months after being diagnosed. She was my best friend and I can't even put into words how difficult it was for me. Her physical pain was tremendous (to put it mildly) and I told her in her final days that I would have traded places with her in a minute so as not to feel the pain that I was feeling. I know it's absurd to say that her physical pain was less than my heartache, but at that moment I really felt like it didn't compare. It's the worst hurt I'd ever experienced, and to this day I have yet to experience anything worse. My heart goes out to you because that feeling I can, unfortunately, truly understand. I told her that she better be listening because I would talk to her every single day. I'd like to think she's listening. ❤ Stay strong sweetie. I feel the pain does not lessen but in time it does become manageable, if that makes any sense. Praying for you. As for your channels... Keep doing what you do... The world will catch up. 😊

I love thrift flips. Yeah, you can do some cute DT crafts, but for statement pieces, you can't beat a thrift upcycle and you rock in that category, Sammie ❤❤. Hang in there, girl!
