Boat Fails Of The Year At Haulover Inlet !!
Best Boat Vídeo Compilation !!

Haulover Inlet in Florida is a popular spot for experienced boaters seeking a thrill. Known for its challenging conditions and strong currents, the inlet connects the Atlantic Ocean to the Intracoastal Waterway and is famous for its rough waves and strong winds, which can make boating hazardous. Despite the risks, many boaters are drawn to the inlet's challenging conditions and the opportunity to navigate through it.

I'm always amazed at how many boat owners don't understand how to use trim to their advantage.

This video proves that rich people are not necessarily smart people.

I’m amazed at how many captains are that careless and ignorant to allow passengers to be in harms way…
  • @dougbourdo2589
Never ceases to amaze me that the driver of the little boats with passengers in the bow seating area don't slow enough to prevent passengers from getting thrown about. Incredible.
  • thank good the uscg knows how to navigate in tough seas. my daughter worked for disney cruise lines and was a lifeboat captain . tested by the cg in all types of weather. had to know how to maintain the engine and ration food and water. she was the only other person i trusted with my boat. she had one better than me , celestial navigation , using a sextant.

Concerning the DGS Monster 'seatrial': Guess it all depends on how much gelcoat needs replacing.

It never ceases to amaze me how many of these boats have kids on board without life vests (especially in choppy weather). In some situations, adults should have life vests on too and I would argue children under a certain age should wear vests). In the US, between 2003 and 2007, over 700 people were killed from being man overboard situations. It's estimated that 90% happen in calm seas under a foot (US Coastguard stats).

55:32 The jetskier is definitely in the wrong. Inlets and Outlets are made to go IN and OUT to reach a marina or harbor, they are basically like a two way street and you are always to remain parallel to the shore on each side. They are not made for idiots on jetskis to do donuts in. Also according to maritime regulations, the smaller vessel with more maneuverability should always give way to the bigger vessel that has less maneuverability.

I been in the ocean for a while I’m finally getting my own boat, these videos are training for what not to do in the inlet.
  • @petefranzen7481
Thanks for the great videos. I am not even a boat guy and I really enjoy them. You have an extensively vast knowledge of the types of boats and how to tackle the inlet.

Apparently trim and throttle have been removed from modern vessels. WOW!
