I tell my son, almost every time we're out on the lake, "just because you're smart enough to make enough money to buy a nice boat, doesn't mean you're smart enough to drive it!" This video is living proof!
  • You can always count on one thing: In an emergency, the other passengers do not put their drinks down.
  • @Avid_boater
This video gives many examples of why I avoid Miami when I am boating. I have never seen so many rude, ignorant people on boats any where else I have been.
  • @iknowchris
the boat that sank with the guy getting a towel to put on his face before it sank lol priceless lol

Absolutely mind blowing the lack of urgency when someone is foundering in the water. This is our society today. Every time we go out for a day sail, we review what to do for MOB.Even if it's the same people. 1) a spotter watches and never takes his eyes off the person. 2) Toss a couple of floatables toward victim 3) nobody else goes in the water 4) gently retrieve
  • @dentalnovember
Nobody seems to know how to throw a cushion or life ring for the simple fact it makes the person overboard more visible. Never life preservers nearby either. The behavior of many of these “captains” is outrageous!
  • As a former lifeguard this video shocks me that not one of those people in the boat would go in to help her… It was very clear that she was struggling and with all those big yachts I’m sure there was a strong current too..
  • @alyssa0411
I’ve been that person in the water trying my hardest to swim to the boat. The current wasn’t in my favor that day. You go from being fine to panicking because you can see the boat is moving away. Thankfully my friend driving the boat actually noticed and brought the boat closer. It will be a little bit before I feel comfortable jumping in the lake again out in deep water and when or if I do, it will be with a life vest.

So they just watch people almost drown? No grabbing a couple life jackets, putting one on and diving in? Throwing a life line? Anything? Just calmly watch them struggle back to the boat. Crazy.
  • @bigmountain7561
Watching this video doesn’t surprise me, this is why people don’t understand how easy it is to get into real trouble on the water.
  • @buyamerican3191
The 38 Meridian, I am astounded. The boat is sinking, nobody seems aware that they are in danger, nobody has a pfd on or even has one accessible. Passengers still holding onto their drinks. They only people that seem to be concerned or in any kind of hurry are the guys trying to keep it from sinking. Absolutely unbelievable!
  • lol I love how everyone just keeps drinking and watching her swim for her life :face-blue-smiling:
  • @vindelanos8770
Dude. Watching all of those people just standby as that girl struggled to get to the boat, wtf? And way to blow your hero moment guys. Keep on crushin' them suds, I guess.
  • @taters7359
Alright who forgot to put the drain plug back in 😂😂
  • @MrSoarman
Amazes me how they pack so many people in one boat.
  • @SongwriterPlayer
What a lovely summer day. With too many boats on the water, boats overloaded with passages, people drinking, people not paying attention to what they are doing and the boats around them, distractive driving, and everyone in a hurry to get to where they want to go. Resulting in accidents, people getting hurt, and chaos. Welcome to Miami River!
  • @vanceduke5196
Its amazing the lack of sense of emergency by anyone when one goes overboard.
  • @kryan318
the lack of a speedy response to try to rescue these people is sad and so is the cluess boat operators more money than brains
  • #10 - Sea Fox (blue boat) appears to accelerate, apparently to keep his spot in line, and prevent the larger boat from getting ahead of him. The larger boat also accelerates. The Sea Fox tries to get his spot back in line, in front of the larger boat. But he realizes he can't make it, and when he turns away, his tail swing smacks the larger boat. Sea Fox should have just let the larger boat go. No need to navigate so dangerously close to another vessel just to prove, "I was here first!" Just let it go. "Proving your point" will just escalate the the situation! Better to deescalate and disengage from a confrontation. In boating, keep your cool (it's safer than being a hot head!) ✌️😎🤷🤔

It is unbelievable how careless and reckless these boaters act. No one has the slightest idea how to manoeuvre a boat. Super shocking no one help or reacts properly when someone goes over board. Majority of the boaters in this video shouldn’t be allowed to steer a boat. Risking so many lives. No words.
