  • I just wanted to say thank you for making your special education teacher videos! I'm a sped student teacher right now and I'm happy to see some representation! I really want to post Instagram stories and potentially youtube videos some day, but I'm always so nervous about confidentiality and making a mistake. Anyways, I love your videos! :)
  • I love your philosophy as a teacher! 😀 I graduated with my Master's degree in Elementary Education in October 2017. My goal is to begin teaching in August of this upcoming school year. You are such an inspiration for all teachers! 😀 Thank you so much for the things you do for your students! They are blessed to have you in their lives! 😀

Sharing a tip...instead of writing the time block in each day/Square, you could write the time slot under the content heading.
  • Am so embraced for your vidoes that you posted for special needs education it really teach me alot of things as iam also special needs teacher
  • I’m majoring in special education and your videos is helping me a whole lot so thank you so much ❤️❤️❤️

But do you have a video on what content goes in each lesson? What do you submit when you get observed?
  • i dont where exactly you are, but in Mozambique we teachers show student in the lesson everything we are doing, even they way you stand in the board (half part) that is to show, what i dont believe if you have done it right.
  • Hi! Thank you so much for your videos. I am going to be a first year elementary resource teacher this year! I’m excited but so nervous. I’m wondering... how did you know what concepts to start teaching your students? I’m at a total loss. I’m not sure how to even start lesson planning.

  • @nfide
Do you have any teacher assistants in your class if so, how many? How do you utilize them?
  • @bngilliam526
Are you a SPED resource teacher? I am for math and writing.
  • Love this. Don’t you feel there are endless topics to cover? Especially with reading and writing- yikes!!
  • I have a question that doesn't really relate to this video but I thought I would put it on your most recent to ensure you see it! This may be a little personal for you to answer, but one thing I am struggling with is the money aspect. Special education is something I really would love to do but I'm struggling with the money outlook. Do you ever feel like you struggle to get by on a SPED salary? I feel like teacher salaries always get a bad rep and whenever I tell someone I want to be a teacher there is always a negative comment about the pay.. I understand money can't be the only aspect one considers, but coming from a family that struggled I don't want the same for my future. The money is the biggest reason I go back and forth with choosing this as my career and I feel it may come off a little rude to ask teachers I know so I have no clue what that side of teaching is really like.
