  • It's sad seeing Chris kanyon on here talking about being a statistic. Knowing his fate
  • Just wished Chris got the help he needed with his depression and his brain until it was too late! Rest In peace Chris Nancy Daniel and Eddie!

Idk how many people know this but Chris Kanyon would go on to commit suicide in 2010. Hearing him talk about not wanting to be another statistic then falling farther down a whole and still passing away crushes me. R.I.P

His wife more than likely noticed signs. I have little doubt she didn't mention it to someone.

It's actually ironic with the Dynamite Kid because Harley Race invented the flying headbutt, and told everyone "don't do this because it fucks up your spine horribly, it gives you a hard time during an older age", Dynamite Kid took that from Race and ended up sitting in a wheelchair. Benoit took that from Dynamite Kid and ended up losing his mind. This is in fact true because due to case of concussions that were happening with wrestlers at that time, Benoit in a post-mortem investigation into his brain, it was confirmed by Christopher Nowinski that his brain is highly positive for chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE), it changed who you are, how you behave, and what you become.

21:25, pulling a shot gun to your partners face on more than one occassion is not violent because there were no shells?! Sorry Dynamite but that's one of the most fucked up things anyone could ever say or do PERIOD!

I hope his father finds peacešŸ™šŸ¾and stops feeling responsible for his grown sons choices..he did what any real parent would do supporting your CHILDS DREAM i used to watch wrestling as a kid not realizing the dark side of the entertainment business

Fuck man, seeing Chris Kanyon talking about it like that so close to his own Suicide at 40 is surreal

If Chris Benoit was a monster, than Vince McMahon is Dr. Frankenstein,
  • I absolutely believe Chris suffered from a combination of the side effects from all his concussions, steroid use, and depression from losing Eddie. Still, the Benoit tragedy is one of the darkest days in wrestling.
  • "Heavy lies the crown." After he bought everyone out and proved that everyone truly has a price, Vince Mcmahon realized you're buying the talent and burdens of each promotion.

John cena: I cant tell you I haven't taken steroids, but you can't prove I have. Lol AKA I have done steriods

'From his home in Edmonton, to Calgary-Alberta, the very h(e)art of Canada's wrestling empire.' I like that double entendre.
  • @saulwest8254
1:04 that was absolutely brutal, Benoit was fearless. Easy to break your back on edge of the announce table.
  • @hectorlopez1069
I feel sorry for Michael Benoit. He is such a nice innocent man.

Imagine starting a job and your boss ritualistically and systematically drove you insane by forcing you to do the job without education, support and routine third party medical checkups. This man was driven to homicidal insanity through physical and mental torture and Vince has the audacity to call him a monster. In no way is Benoit without blame here but itā€™s naive to look at the situation without taking into account the context and history that led to it

Pro Wrestling has never been the same since 2007. It has never recovered from the Benoit tragedy. The hype, attraction and overall allure just is not there anymore.
