  • This was my parents' wedding song in 1983. They were at Live Aid in 1985. My mother died in 2018, aged 61, and it came on the radio when she was unconscious in intensive care, just a couple of days before they switched off the ventilator. Hope she heard it! It'll always make me think of her. Love you mum! x
  • Today, they can't even come close to this level of talent.... It's like night and day, apples and oranges.... Man do I miss 80's music. Just thank God we have the ability to still listen and watch these 80's Classic's... The Best Ever!! No Doubt about it!!!!

The music of the 80s is so good that it almost makes you cry that those times and the music is no longer live.

This takes me back to 1985: Sitting in front of the TV with a tape recorder, motioning for the rest of my family to shush so I could get as clean a recording as possible. ☺️
  • Spandau Ballet was one of the best bands of that era,and should have been more appreciated in the US.Their performance at Live Aid was one of the better sets that fine day.I am glad I was 18 and able to experience the whole early 80s vibe,I miss it all more every day.
  • I met Tony a few years ago when he performed at the royal Albert hall, we shared his dressing room and I can tell you this ‘ he is a down to earth smashing chap’ very professional but still has time to talk to people like one of the guys. Cheers Tony you’re a legend!
  • Incredible that Tony’s voice was not at his peak during Live Aid. He even got better throughout the years One of the best voices ever!!!
  • Gosh how times have changed. Music is so not music like this. This made you feel have hope for a better day. I loved life in the 80's. I was filled with hope wishes and promise. 35 years looking back wondering what happened to that person that time the music the world? I love this song it almost to deep to listen to for me. 2020/ 2021 has been the worst years in my life. Why can't we all be real and care and be compassionate and love each others differences?
  • It's 2021 and such a different world. Being able to watch this again after experiencing it when I was 20 is a privilege. I have a longing for his period in time that nothing can erase.

I was a Duran fan at the time, that said this was a truly great iconic song, you can't deny Tony's voice
  • A leather trench coat in the heat. Now that's what you call a showman. Great vocals too. Respect.
  • That Man Is DEDICATED To That Outfit. It's 103 Degrees Out In The Stadium & 451 Degrees Inside His Leather Ensemble. Incredible.
  • Why this 80’s and 70’s music is so much better than what comes out nowadays🤔
  • This wasn't a show... It was the reunion of a constelation stars! God bless the 80's! Greetings from Brazil, april 2021. 🇧🇷❤️🇧🇷🙏🏻🇧🇷
  • It blows my mind watching thousands of people watching these artists. No pushing, shoving, people dying....can't ever do a concert on that size nowadays. People just don't know how to act! 80s where the best.

I may have been only 8 years old but damn I miss the 80s. Great music, Nintendo, Saturday morning cartoons, reading rainbow; god I can go on and on. I miss those days but glad I lived in that era!!! This song is amazing!
  • The 80’s are truly the musical renaissance of the 1900’s
