Watching this video again after seeing "Top Gun: Maverick" makes me appreciate the shots selection and overall cinematography by the editors/camera guys even more, when watching the Dudes shoot planes off of the deck. Seriously, put "Danger Zone" over that, and you have the intro to any "Top Gun" movie 😎🍿🎬 Update: This comment section is awesome 👍😎

I joined the navy after (not due to) watching this video. I'm looking back on it now and noticing so much, like, "there's a Petty Officer," "there's a lieutenant," "I know what that hatch is for," etc. It's honestly really fun

It's cool to see people getting excited over being on a carrier. I'm a sailor on one. The childlike wonder of watching the jets and seeing the ship work underway hasn't gone away for me just yet. I love seeing these guys getting excited about it!

As a Top Gun fan, this would be the best thing I ever could go on. Being on a carrier amd flying in a F-18 Super Hornet must be one of the coolest things on earth, especially for a Top Gun fan.

My dad was actually a pilot for the Navy for 20 years! He went on carriers a lot, and one of his flight friends was actually a Blue Angel! My mom actually saw him in Annapolis about a year ago when they had the Blue Angel show and he was commentating on what the Angels were doing (he’s also retired.) This video was super cool and it looks so fun!

I’ve been in the Navy for almost 14 years and y’all have gotten to do things that I will never get to. Lucky dudes for sure.

Awesome video. So thankful for all the brave men and women who serve in the US Navy. This reminded me of 2 things from my childhood in the 80’s. 1. The Video for Dreams by Van Halen featuring the Blue Angels. 2. The G.I. Joe aircraft carrier USS Flag. My cousins had it. It was one of the largest toys ever.
