Building my Crown Vic Swapped 1963 F100 in 10 minutes! Even Reveal Total Cost!!!

Published 2023-07-05
I have been asked multiple times about parts and what the cost of my shop truck is. So, I finally made a video and I reveal the cost of the whole build. Yes, I am sure I missed a few small details or parts listed but THIS is incredibly close to exactly what it cost me. If you have the ability to weld you can very easily do this exact swap and do it cheaper than I did.

Sick build, i got a great deal on a low mile crown vic almost 3 years ago, i was actually looking for a 70s model short bed to do the swap with... clean trucks don't exist in Michigan. So a 62 unibody long bed form Montana popped up 25 miles from home for $1500. So that's what I'm going to be building.
  • Very good video, I have over 50,000 miles on my swap since I finished it. I agree with everything you said in the video.

What wheels are those? I am intrigued, as I want to do a Crown Vic frame under my 64 Mercury and they would look perfect. I know with backspacing and all it can be a challenge to get vintage styled wheels for the 03+ chassis.

Did you remove any of the torque box using the CV frame? Very nice build! I have a 63 uni long bed myself. (mine has the Dakota front crossmember, z'ed 2 inches) hehe. Slick 60's! Subscribed!

Just imagine if someone else did all the work on it, then it would be extremely expensive build
  • By the way you don’t own that truck a little girl does. Lol. What kinda time do you have into build this truck? From old frame to new frame.
