Donkey Kong Movie Incoming!?

It would be awesome if they had all these Nintendo movies lead up to a smash bros movie kind like marvel does

If Donkey Kong could get his own movie then King K. Rool could have his chance to return!

I sure hope so, and hoping that King K. Rool is in it as the main villain.

I hope we get to see some of the kongs in the movie Donkey Kong Dixie Kong Diddy Kong Funky Kong Cranky King Candy Kong Tiny Kong Lanky Kong Chunky Kong And King K-Rool as the main antagonist or Villain

Theory: i think after The Super Mario Bros. Movie, a Donkey Kong movie is on production. And before the Donkey Kong movie, Nintendo can announce The Super Mario Bros. 2 Movie.

My initial thoughts for a Donkey Kong movie is a story about friendship and trusting others. The vibe I get from the Mario Movie’s DK is that he’s a big celebrity that’s powerful but arrogant. I think Mario will humble him in the fight we see in the trailer, but I see him being more static because this isn’t his movie. Maybe Mario and DK become buddies or just rivals, but that’s what I predict. The DK movie can leave where the Mario movie leaves off, and DK faces the Kremlins. However his devoted fan club (Diddy, Dixie, Chunky, Lanky, and Tiny) tags along and he feels like he has to carry them the whole way. (Or if it’s just DK and Diddy that’s fine too. I could see a character dynamic like Boog and Elliot from Open Season.) However, he learns the importance of seeing the value in others, maybe at first for his own gain but becomes more when they bond. I think that his friends will help him where he’s weak in order to take down K Rool. That way he finds real courage and finds the strength to save the bananas or something. DK Crew! Like come on. If they had the Mario bros super show referenced in a trailer, imagine a modern DK rap! But the movie has to have a mine cart scene. Hands down.

Mario Cinematic Universe

I would LOVE those Nintendo Movies, but one I'm REALLY hoping for is Legend of Zelda. Who would they cast for King K, Rool and the rest of the Kongs though? So hyped for the Mario Movie!! Luigi's Mansion would sure be another great movie I would LOVE to go see

I wouldn't actually mind seeing another mario characters get spin off moves for example, 1. Luigis Mansion 2. DK Country 3. Warioware 4. Captain toad.

So, who should play King K. Rool? (I’m sure he’s going to be our main villain.)

I hope they bring K. Rool back as the main villain. The Tikis are boring, and the Snowmads are more or less just an Arctic / Antarctic versions of the Kremlings.

I really like that they're making Donkey Kong Island feel like a Kong Society instead of just an extended family of Kongs living in the jungle.

I would prefer a Peach movie but with Daisy and Rosalina, that would be cooler and interesting, but a DK movie would be great too or a Luigi's Mansion Movie
