Overthinking It subjects the popular culture to a level of scrutiny it probably doesn't deserve.

Gutted for Germany's placement to be honest. I thought they gave a captivating, energetic performance.
  • It's impossible to choose only 1 song for the Fulenn award, I couldn't believe my ears when I saw the total scores for Serbia, Austria, Spain etc.
  • Gutted for Germany totally didnt deserve that result. They can hold their head up high they didnt compromise and were so kind and generous to everyone in Liverpool. Germany should be proud of how the represented them

Done!! Funny poll... But I was expecting the Konstraka award too 😅 you know the most overthinked song of the season... I would say this year we had very good competition between Austria, Croatia, Serbia and a couple more haha But well, just saying...
  • Can we take a second to appreciate how good the Balkans were despite the result? Armenia, Serbia, Croatia, and Czechia SO GOOD. 12 points to Slovenia from the UK! You were all at the very top of my personal rankings for this finale.

This poll was so fun! 🎉 I hope you enjoy my answers 😂
  • My hot take? We need the juries to prevent block voting, but there should be a fair process to decide who IS the jury. They might even consider having a vote among Eurovision fans to decide who is in the jury for their country. Abolishing the jury won't necessarily be good for the contest outcomes, even though I desperately wanted Finland to win this year. Additionally, the juries should show some kind of form explaining how they gave points to each song. Give some kind of argumentation why they awarded points. Also, I need to mention, these are such fun categories for the overthinkies!

Aw man! Not only did ESC's refusal to accept my credit card rob me of my first chance to vote in Eurovision, my own delay in watching this video has robbed me of the chance to vote in the real contest! Seriously, though, I look forward to seeing the results.

People, before you say anything about the results, stop and OVERTHINK for a bit.

Loreen basically got crowned by the jury.. Look at the public votes that Finland needed to win. Even Norway got almost as many public points as Sweden. If every year, the public vote differs so much from the jury, maybe it's time to greatly lessen their impact.

So many deserved better scores from the juries. Spain was pure art both musically and visually. Who the hell are the juries...and what are their criteria?
  • Lord of the Lost has delivered a fantastic show. They did not deserve to come last. The Swedish song is an assemblage of existing songs so I don’t get how this is in compliance with the ESC rules.

Was disappointed that Austria, Estonia, and Czechia didn't do better. All amazing. Italy and Belgium shouldn't have been near the top, and Israel and Sweden were higher than deserved as well, though they were good. Would have liked to see France and Croatia do better too, but I'm not surprised about those really.
  • @lr2550
Spain! I'm so shocked about Spain's televote, she deserved SO much better! 😥😥
  • @noem.7430
truly this channel is a ray of light after my dissapointment
  • @lightup35
I'm afraid my faves will be underrated even in the Fulenn award😅

I don't care what anyone says. Sweden did not deserve to win. The people voted for Cha Cha Cha. Also, Loreen has already won Eurovision before. It's a shitty thing to do and go again with basically the same song. Compare both Euphoria and Tattoo, there isn't really much difference, they sound the same. This is also exactly what happend with Spirit in the sky who also won the people. The jury sucks.
  • I did a whole analysis of what things would look like with a slightly weighted public voting system (keep current system for juries but award 15-12-10-8-7-6-5-4-2-1 points for televote), and the only top 10 change would have been Croatia jumping Czechia for the top 10. I know folks loved Käärijä and I did too. But Loreen won because she slayed the juries and got a whole lot of televotes as well. Not the result I wanted, but she 100 percent deserves it. The one I don't get is Spain. PB was brilliant and her performance was so brave. Dead last in televote was a crime. Like... there's "this song didn't hit" scores, and then there's "this song finished dead last" scores. And I don't understand how, for instance, folks look at this song vis a vis the performances of acts like Portugal or Albania and have it come out that decisively against Spain.
