I have a hummingbird plant in my yard, it took 10 years before it started giving flowers, but now it's full of flowers and it's literally attracting hummingbirds. It's a beautiful thing.
  • Awwwso cute. If u see a baby bird on the ground, 95% of the time mom is there. Or she is getting food for her baby. They usually hide in low shrubs, and climb up to higher branches. Altho sometimes they come out into the open for mom to feed. I had a lot of Robin babies around. I always check on them, and mom was always a few feet away.
  • Seems a lot safer learning in short hops than jumping out of a tree. Fascinating. Never seen this. Thank you.

That was incredible footage! I love how mama-bird came back to reassure her baby that she's close by 💓
  • So cute! Important to keep cats indoors to keep wildlife like this baby bird safe

I love how the flight training for adolescent Humming birds are just: hover stop hover stop hover stop and it repeats until the they just hover without stopping until they land on a branch
  • Dang, I love hummingbirds. To me this is an amazing but nerve wracking video...:))
  • I just saw a baby house finch and a baby sparrow in the span of 48 hours! I saw the sparrow get fed!

Also rescued hummingbirds from being trapped in garages. If you leave a garage door open they can't get back out. I saw where these national parks have maintenance guys who leave open the garage doors. My friend found a dead one in there. I was angry, and asked why can't they close them. Why leave them open? He said, because the guys come in and out all day. Still no excuse
