I have been a volunteer firefighter for over 42 years. Not really ready to hang up the hat but it is going to happen. Captain you are a credit to the fire service. The city of Los Angeles California is greatful for your dedication and service. Good luck on your next adventure. Spending time with family is always good. Family always comes first. Enjoy your retirement.

  • Iโ€™ve been a Firefighter in two states! When we reach the end and either leave due to injuries or retire itโ€™s emotional! The Fire Service is one of the best things I joined outside of the ARMY! Captain Espinoza, May you find the hot spots in life and soak them up! God speed brother! Two in Two out always!
  • I donโ€™t live in Los Angelos but thank you for your service & bravery.

Brought back some emotions whenever I pulled my final shift which I had well involved residential and apartment fire and a 3 year old drowning victim. It felt so weird cleaning out my captains locker and turning in my gear. I am actually looking into to volunteering with my city's fire department. Thanks for sharing!
