when the punishments are the same for theft over $5k and theft of $20 million, you might wanna update your criminal code
  • @mikemurphy8996
I heard they took the gold and still couldn’t afford a house in Toronto.

Imagine telling your boss that you accidentally put the pallet of gold bars into the fish truck.

Who starts a serious meeting with. We think this should be in a Netflix series. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Funny part is all Suspects are released on Bail. This is the stupidest thing I ever heard.
  • @NorthGhost539
Air Canada waited 5 hours to contact police. Excellent headstart for the truck driver.

them laughing at the beginning of this when not recovering even a fraction of what's lost says it all
  • @Da1n_0nly
So pretty much you're saying you have nothing to show for it, but a truck and a tiny fraction of the value of what was stolen .... great work
  • @momzilla9491
They let these criminals out of bail? How the F did that happen?
  • @ABUTARI70
When Toronto Mayor is laughably describing car jackings and this dude comes out saying that this heist is something worthy of Netflix, it shows clearly that the authorities do not view crime seriously, it is very sad
  • @God4Culture
“These licks” I think someone else needs to be investigated 😂😂😂

This news conference is straight out of Netflix.

400 kg of gold at todays value is not $20M. Try $41M. Add the cash this heist was over $43M. I don't understand why they always underestimate the value.
  • @bruh1987
They call it 20 million.... But if 1 kg of gold is currently $105,000 dollars, then 400 kgs is actually 40+million

Thank you for the step by step how to, including necessary documentation and expected response times.
  • Nobody is serious in this country. Nobody. Not the Prime Minister, not the entire government, not the courts, not the airport workers, not the police. Nobody

I was surprised there weren’t any tracking devices added on to the container for such an expensive cargo of gold from Switzerland to Canada.
  • @tango57
No report of the rest of $20 million in gold bars missing? They only recovered a few gold bracelets? This is an utter failure of law enforcement.
  • @TheducksOrg
Just goes to show how little Air Canada cares about your cargo.. doesn't matter if it's $20M worth, they won't tell you when it's coming in, they don't know where it is..
