Here is an update on my sweet potatoes that are growing in soil in a (tote) container. I show how the sweet potatoes can root through the runners. If you are not sure where the roots will come from just bury the main runners under the soil but leave the leaves above the soil and the plant will do the rest. When you go to harvest check the whole length of the runners in case any of the runners rooted.

I'm growing sweet potatoes 🍠🍠🍠🌱🌱in containers as well. It works quite well. How was your harvest?
