I was searching how to make a bird formula at home and this just saved a life
  • This video is worth GOLD! I've been known as the bird lady my whole life. I can't count, how many times I'd find a baby or dying bird on my doorstep! I'd grab it, & off we'd run on my 12 hour work day. & you're right, there's nothing worse than realizing all the shops near you, are outa stock! I've mixed all kinds of concoctions over the years... Smashed up like yours, & similar. Organic 13 grain whole wheat bread with slightly cooked egg yokes & maybe a blueberry... If I had time, I'd go for the real thing, & just start digging up worms! It is THE WORST FEELING, not knowing if you're doing the right thing! I will save & cherish this video, thank you with all my heart.🤗💕

This is definitely a life saving video. We found an abandoned baby bird tonight . I am trying this early morning tomorrow .
  • My dad just cut down a tree that we didn’t know had a nest, so now we have 4 bald babies and I desperately want to save them. I will be watching tons of your baby bird videos, thank you. Making the formula as I type. I’ve never taken care of a bird before let alone a little hatchling, I’m scared

I was struggling so much about the home made food for baby birds with dfrnt channels but everyone suggested for cerelac or something complicated. U came up as an angel for me. Fed the two now. And now m here to thank you for making this video. ❤❤❤
  • Hey , again a similar story. I was renovating my bird shed to start with finch keeping after a break from bird breeding for a few years. I left an unnoticed gap under the door and my hen zebbie who was sitting on 5 chicks between 9 and 15 days old got out and the cock abandoned the chicks by the next night. I have bred parrots for years and have a little experience in handrearing bigger birds like conures Senegal’s love birds and cockatiels so i thought i would have a go at saving the little chicks as it was my fault they had been left and would die. I used your formula to get the first feed into the little ones and ultimately saved their lives. They were gone listless and lethargic till i gave them your recipe of food. I managed to get a tub of hand rearing formula and they are now starting the weaning process. Thanks loads for this wonderful video.
I have two little videos of me feeding the chicks the first after 6 days and the second 3 weeks later, Monday last week. You might get a kick out of seeng the little ones you helped save 😊 the little videos are on my “channel” (its not really a channel just the two little videos of the baby zebbie feedings. 🤷‍♂️😊
  • Just found a baby bird in the flower bed this morning. So thankful to have found your video.

Found a nestling on the ground 4 days ago. No sign of parents. Some Googling brought me here and the bird has been eating consistently. Getting close to fledgling stage now.

    Thank you!

My vet told me never give egg to a sparrow which would destroy their digestive system. You can give good quality of kitten cat kibble . you boil water and let it warm and put some kitten kibble with chicken and wait till the kibbles got soft and observe water . You can feed the baby sparrow with it which I’m doing it now. I use tweezers and cut the kibble in 2 or 3 pieces and gently give one by one to the baby. I also mix it with the boiled drinking water ( to have a sterilized water) and givi it with a injection ( take of the needle ofcourse) . So that gives the bird water and the minerals she needs. I feed them in every 2 hours , sometimes even in 1 hour they get hungry. I don’t sleep however worth it for their lives. The other important thing is to make them feel that they are in their nest. And be aware of their body temperature. I don’t use hot water bag because I’m scared if I can’t control the heat. So I use stones which I warm them in the owen. And I replace them at the corners of their box. And make sure they have an organic box with air holes. After I feed then I slightly cover them and they feel at home and sleep. I check the heat in the box to make sure they are ok. And also I put soft toilet paper pieces where they sleep , it’s easy to collect when they poop. They poop when the mother is there because in nature, mother collects it when they are pooping. Very strange. You can find videos of it. So I try my best to do it in their own nature. This is my first experience and I wanted to share it with you. They are 7 days old. I hope all the best to you all
