The newly released remake of Resident Evil 4 shares a lot in common with the original, but there are just enough differences to really throw a wrench in your plans of not being chainsawed in half.     when you shoot an enemy in the head or kneecap to setup the melee attack, you can actually run at them and then press the shoot button to do a lunge knife attack. When Leon does this, you can get a free extra hit as you knife lunge them and when you slash them you can still melee attack afterwards. Very useful against enemies you know are gonna need more damage to kill.
  • One of the biggest combat tips you missed was crouching when unarmed enemies try and grab you, saves a lot of knife durability and herbs
  • When people charge at you for a grab, you can just crouch to avoid it.

    Never played RE in my life, loving this game tho. This could be game of the year easily, this is how games were supposed to be made man. Great story, replayability, great characters, dope combat system, dope map, dope puzzles, dope game!

  • This might seem irrelevant, but Leon loads an extra cartridge into his default handgun. One in the chamber + magazine! 10 + 1 as indicated on your HUD...
  • Already got s+ rank on RE2 remake for Claire and Leon. Now it's time to grind RE4 remake.

    Thanks you for actually showing tips. Many of these videos are the most obvious tips that even a beginner couldn’t benefit from. I’m a veteran and still learned quite a bit.

    There most likely will be an infinite knife to unlock from the many secrets since the previous remakes and Village had quite a few awesome ing weapons

    Here's another tip... you can crouch under a grab lunge from a non transformed enemy as long as your on the same level of elevation

    You can kick groups down if you stagger and rush up to one within the group to kick to get past.
