To pass the road test, you must meet several requirements, provide the necessary documentation, schedule an appointment in advance, and be familiar with the driving maneuvers that will be tested on the driving test.

The exam is all about showing the examiner that you’re a safe driver. Each state’s road test is graded differently, but generally, you’re allowed to make a few non-critical mistakes without failing. However, if you make a critical mistake, such as failing to come to a complete stop at a stop sign, you will immediately fail the driving test.

In this video, driving instructor Jacqueline goes through what’s happening and what you should expect at the driving test.

You’ll learn how to do a pre-driving check:

-Left turn signal
-Right turn signal
-Hazard lights
-Honk your horn
-Lights
-Windshield wipers
-Window defroster
-Footbrake
-Emergency brake

Also, you’ll learn what’s being tested on the driving test:

-Follow the rules of the road
-Traffic scanning
-Be prepared to yield if you have to
-Be prepared to go when it’s your turn
-Keep your speed calibrated
-Use good steering control
-Use good lane positioning
-Make safe left & right turns
-Clear every intersection safely
-Park parallel to the curb
-Reverse parallel to the curb

I wish you all good luck on your driving test, remember be calm during the driving test always scan your mirror and blind spot. Always have your hand on the wheel. Always signal when changing lane or turning right or left. Pay intention to the road sign, especially the speed limit. Always make a complete stop at stop sign. And check your left and right shoulder everytime you come to stop sign. Show the instructor that your a safe driver by scanning the mirrors constantly. Also practice parrel parking. Good luck
  • Love the calm and correct teaching method you give to your students. Very well handle.

I’m a professional driver since 1989 and 28 years no traffic ticket and no accident but I failed in DMV driving test because I had no idea what was their expectations from this test but thank you very much for this valuable information and the extremely helpful materials.

I really found it easy to digest the information the way she was talking. Thank you x

My main concern is getting my car in a straight and parallel position. I'm often at a slight angle. Getting familiar with the wheel will improve it, but it gets frustrating after hours and hours of practice a week.
  • @Bryan-ny3fl
Passed on my 2nd test😊😊😊 im so proud
  • 4 minutes into watching Jacqueline's video, and still in disbelief how well she explains everything. For other tutorials it took 5 mins to get to the hand signal part...
  • Jacqueline, your lessons so far are the best I found on YouTube, I do not understand why so few views. I like positioning of the frame with you and additional informational materials that appear on the screen properly, as well as bullets when you listing something or even zooming in approaching objects. Amazing job done in design as well as in the supply and filling of the material. God bless You!
  • I still have a lil anxiety to get on the road with my mom first because I'm gonna be the one behind the wheel but I pray I get the confidence to do it, great advice and great notes I took from this video.
  • My test tomorrow. November 1 at 2.30 pm i will update. Iam praying 🙏 Update: i passed with 0 mistake. Thank you very mush . All your videos good

I've always thought of the window defrosters as seaweed in a fish tank, which... probably doesn't help anyone remember anything.
