Im assuming they're checking your entire background and so on? My gf and I want to go to canada this year I want to take her on her birthday I have two misdemeanors nothing serious, just got them vacated last year and I got them in 2016. I was told its up to the officers to determine if they let you in or not. I hope my current employment working for a world wide non profit with people disabilities shows im trust worthy and had to do a very strict DSHS background. I hope you guys had a blast!

So I have a question, I drive from USA into Canada border and when they say Where are you from? and I was born in Toronto Canada but got my citizenship in 1977 and moved to NC, do I tell them I am from North Carolina OR do I tell them i originally from Toronto but live in NC??? Thanks

every border crossing and agent on either side is their own situation...Cda always seems friendlier than US agents....US more professional.....IMO
