In this video we talk about the health issues that Dalmatians can have which are bladder stones (Urate stones) and they are prone to being deaf. There is hearing test done called a Baer Test which needs to be performed by a Veterinary neurologist to let you know if your puppy has perfect hearting or not. If they are deaf in one ear, this puppy will be a great pet still but they will have delayed reaction times to when you call them. They also may look around to find you because they do not know what direction the sound is coming from. Dalmatian need a special diet. I recommend Royal Canin Dalmatian diet, but you can also feed them 1/2 vegetarian diets mixed with normal kibble. Just make sure to talk to your breeder or veterinarian about the right diet for your Dalmatian.

One thing about Dalmatians is they don’t wander off like other breeds do. German Shepherd seems too stick around.

I love your videos! I just adopted to adult chihuahua mixes that were unfortunately neglected by their previous owners. Both of them have almost no teeth and only eat wet food. Could you please make a video on what brands of wet food you recommend to adult small dogs with sensitive tummies? Much love!❤️

I noticed her last Dalmatian has a blue eye. They shouldn’t breed a blue eyed Dalmatian, this is highly not recommend because it’s more common for them to carry the deaf gene

Very informative video. Thank you! Please pardon my ignorance but I have always wanted to ask this question - I have always noticed dog owners let their dogs lick them on their face and mouth (and hence teeth too) is this safe? I am asking from a transfer of bacteria perspective.

Being active is a must it seems. But what is the minimal amount of Activity that is acceptable for taking on this breed. Cuz not everyone kayaks, lol. But if ur a runner or cycle would that be sufficient?
