Interviewed them for Sounds in the Bungalow Bar in Paisley back in the day. Then Peter turned up at my flat in Primrose Hill in London with a bunch of demo tapes! I thought "this guy will go far" - not so long after my mum rang to say he had got a role in the Burt Lancaster film Local Hero. Then he won an Oscar a few years later. Quite a success story.
